hi Francis! Just a quick hello from one of your long-ago past illustrators. I hope you are enjoying life beyond the post. I just wanted to update you that I have written and illustrated a graphic novel called “The Heartbreak Diet” published by Chronicle Books. I thought perhaps I can get on the insider’s track to the Post book reviewer. Wishing you all the best,
Thorina

A beautiful spring morning here in Bethesda, just a few blocks outside the District line. The cherry blossoms have faded but apple blossoms and dogwood have burst with color. Good to hear from you. You should address your graphic novel to Marie Arana, The Washington Post Book World, 1150 15th St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20071. I suppose you’re still out there in California. Yes, I am enjoying my retirement. Cheers!
